My collage celebrates the historic Barton Arms in Newtown, Birmingham — a true local landmark built in 1901, renowned for its magnificent Victorian architecture and rich cultural heritage. Over the years, this iconic pub has welcomed many illustrious visitors, including the legendary Laurel and Hardy and Charlie Chaplin, who both graced its halls during their early tours.
The collage is composed of photographs I’ve personally taken of the Barton Arms and the surrounding area, capturing its timeless character and atmosphere. I’ve also incorporated my signature flowers, weaving my own artistic style into the piece to complement the building’s beauty and history.
