Goodbye Oasis is an open edition fine art print created in tribute to a place once held close to the hearts of many Brummies — Priory Square.

Before its sudden closure, I had unknowingly captured photographs of the space — documenting its light, structure, and atmosphere as part of my usual creative process. Soon after, we learned it was disappearing. Workers were reportedly given just 20 minutes to leave. It was gone almost overnight.

When I realised the significance of the images I had taken, I knew I had to create something lasting.

Using my signature layered collage technique, I transformed those photographs into a surreal, botanical composition — preserving the memory of a space that once offered calm within the city. A modern oasis in the heart of Birmingham.

This piece is about remembrance. About change. About holding onto the places that quietly shape our stories.
