Inspired by the proud spirit of Newcastle upon Tyne, this piece from my Out of Brum collection celebrates a city defined by strength, heritage, and unmistakable northern warmth.

At its heart stands Angel of the North — bold, protective, and iconic — watching over the landscape. The sweeping curve of the Tyne Bridge anchors the composition, symbolising connection and resilience, while the historic Statue of George Stephenson honours innovation and the industrial legacy that helped shape the modern world.

Through layered collage and botanical elements, I’ve softened steel and structure with growth and movement — blending past and present to reflect a city that is both grounded and constantly evolving.
