This artwork is an original layered collage created using my own photography of the iconic Diving Lady’s legs outside what was once Newtown Swimming Baths.

I’ve blended multiple colours, textures, and photographic layers to reimagine the sculpture in a contemporary, dreamlike way — allowing form, movement, and light to ripple through the composition much like water itself.

Set against the vibrant backdrop of the nearby colourful mural, the piece brings together art, memory, and place — celebrating both the history of the baths and the creative energy that now surrounds this well-loved Birmingham landmark.
